Agent-Based Macroeconomics Workshop (ABMW)

The one-day workshop aims to bring together researchers developing
macroeconomic agent-based models addressing issues such as:
– economic growth;
– business cycles;
– financial cycles;
– crises;
– climate change;
– technological and structural change;
– unemployment and labor market dynamics;
– development;
– macroeconomic policies;
– validation and estimation.
PAPER SUBMISSION
Submit your paper or an extended abstract of two pages by click-ing here or copying and pasting bit.ly/abmworkshop in your web browser. Graduate students and young scholars are welcome to submit.
Submission and participation is free of charge. No accommodation or travel expenses will be covered. However, selected participants may be granted a partial stipend through the Young Scholar Initiative (YSI) of INET, particularly in the case of graduate students and early career professors living outside Rio de Janeiro.
CRITICAL DATES
– Deadline for applications: extended to 05/02.
– Registration and final paper submission: 09/02.

Andrea Roventini (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa) and GilbertoTadeu Lima (USP) are already confirmed as keynote speakers.
Marcelo Pereira (Unicamp), Lilian Rolim (Unicamp), and Ítalo Pedrosa (UFRJ) are also confirmed participants.
